 Oklahoma City, Okla. – Valair Aviation, an AGC Aerospace & Defense company, was honored with a 2011 Metro 50 Award by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. The Metro 50 is a ranking of the Greater Oklahoma City area’s growing private companies.

To be eligible for the award, companies must be headquartered in the Oklahoma City metro area with more than one million dollars in operating revenue. The winners meet those requirements and exemplify creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and have experienced significant revenue growth.

A full-service aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility with a long history in Oklahoma, the company has experienced over 25 percent revenue growth in the last year.  Valair is the second AGC Aerospace & Defense company to receive a Metro 50 Award for exceptional growth in revenues and in creating high-value, high paying jobs, locally.
