VT Borescope (RVI) Technician Level II

Location: Pensacola FL.

About the Role

In this position you will be responsible to perform remote visual borescope inspections and to assist in the development of inspection techniques as well as assist in the growth of our business in Veracity’s Power Generation group. You will be required to travel to job sites and perform Borescope inspections on Gas, Steam and Generators as well as assisting in RVI inspection in the Nuclear world. In addition, you will be required to assist the other groups in the markets they service during peak seasons.

Qualifications

1. Completed a NDE certified training course that comply with the classroom and OJT requirements established by ASNT.

2. Ability to manage resources.

3. ASNT Level II certifications in VT

4. Able to climb onto gas turbine engines.

5. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds of equipment.

6. Experience in completing reports using Word, Excel, and other data bases.

7. Willingness to travel to job site and complete all assigned jobs IAW with VTS policies and customer requirements.

NDT Technician Level II (VT/PT/MT/UT/ET)

Position Number NDT20211101

Multiple Locations: Ohio, Florida, Texas

About the Role

In this position you will be responsible to perform Nondestructive and remote visual borescope inspections and to assist in the development of inspection techniques as well as assist in the growth of our Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) business in Veracity’s Emerging Markets. You will be required to travel to job sites and perform NDE inspections on general industry and aviation markets. In addition, you will be required to assist the other groups in the markets they service during peak seasons.

Qualifications

1. Completed a NDE certified training course that comply with the classroom and OJT requirements established by ASNT.

2. Ability to manage resources.

3. ASNT Level II certifications in VT/ET/UT/MT/PT.

4. Able to climb onto gas turbine engines and aircraft structures.

5. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds of equipment.

6. Experience in completing reports using Word, Excel, and other data bases.

7. Willingness to travel to job site and complete all assigned jobs IAW with VTS policies and customer requirements

API Inspector 

Multiple Locations: Ohio

About the Role

Working with the NDT Group, the technician will perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

Submit to client technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition
Provide client with technical recommendations for the repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment, as required for safe operation within stated operating parameters for durations specified by client.

Provide technical guidance, on a application of non-destructive examination techniques and procedures

Willingness to travel across the U.S and Internationally

Position Number API20211101

  1. Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 570

  2. Additional 510/653/CWI a plus

  3. In-depth working knowledge of API 570 and ASME standards

  4. Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers

  5. Must have a valid D.L.

  6. Must complete and pass a DISA Background check

  7. Must complete and pass all required Drug Screens

  8. Must complete and pass site specific safety council
